Avec « Le zoo du futur », GAIA vous invite à explorer une nouvelle façon de rencontrer les animaux sauvages, sans souffrance ni captivité. Grâce à une expérience immersive de réalité virtuelle, découvrez des habitats naturels méticuleusement recréés et observez les animaux dans leur milieu naturel, sans les déranger.
Mais ce n’est pas tout : le zoo de demain est également peuplé d’animaux holographiques, robotiques et animatroniques, conçus pour émerveiller sans exploiter. Une technologie de pointe pour un profond respect de tous les êtres vivants.
Contrairement aux zoos traditionnels, souvent critiqués pour leurs conditions de captivité, cette approche favorise un lien éthique avec le monde animal, tout en sensibilisant à la protection des espèces et à la conservation de leurs habitats naturels.
GAIA adopte une position nuancée sur les zoos existants, reconnaissant les efforts de certaines institutions tout en appelant à repenser fondamentalement leur mission.

Discover City Jewel – A Collective Artwork of Childhood Resilience
October 1–17
City Jewel (Stadsjuweel / Bijou de Ville) is a co-creative artwork by and for survivors of childhood trauma. It gives voice and recognition to those who have experienced trauma, while highlighting the profound impact such experiences can have. The project also aims to raise awareness in society about how common childhood trauma is and the importance of understanding it.
The artwork currently consists of over 330 beads – paper-mâché spheres – each representing a personal story. These stories speak of challenging moments, resilience, recovery, and the people or resources that provided support along the way. Over the coming months, the artwork will continue to grow as more survivors are guided to contribute their own beads, creating a richer and more diverse narrative.
More than 130 children and adults have already contributed, forming a powerful collective symbol of both trauma and strength. Soon, City Jewel will be displayed in public space as a permanent testament to healing, recognition, and societal awareness.
